The track area enables role play simulation in dealing with signals, cross-overs, overhead lines and personal track safety.
The Centre is just 2 miles from Junction 21 on the M6 motorway with plenty of free parking close to the venue. The Centre features fully fitted training rooms, twin track indoor practical area and a large kitchen/break area with free wifi.
Complying with the new standards
The rail industry is currently undergoing a major review of how it expects engineering and maintenance projects to be managed. These changes are likely to impact across all skilled staff who work in the industry, particularly project managers, planners and safe work leaders. The result should be a much more joined-up approach to communications. The impact however is that staff are likely to require new certificates and accreditations to prove they are competent in the new rules and regulations.
At PPS, we have industry-leading trainers who can advise how the new working standards may affect your business. We can also offer a range of courses to ensure your staff meet the new legal skill requirements.
